Really interesting thread here and one that I am going to continue to capitalize on. I have a STOL airplane with a O-320 on it that I have always used ethanol free fuel on as a holdover to aviation mania. The entire fuel system is ethanol proof with aluminum wing tanks, gravity flow, modern automotive fuel lines and filters. The critical point I thought I had was the Marvel Schebler carburetor, but now I am rebuilding the engine and I am going to overhaul the carb at the same time, ensuring that it has the purple float, ethanol resistant seals, and a brass needle seat. When this all goes back together I am going to start running E10 in it and review the results on an interval basis. Thanks for placing all the science in one spot.
