I have located a set of DW's without a hub bar here in Australia. why its missing, I have no idea. the blade serial # 394239 R which indicates they were manufactured in March '94 and appear in excellent condition. The previous owner is deceased due to illness. My question here is "is it possible to get a replacement hub bar complete?" I guess Mike would be able to offer a suggestion any records of original purchaser, thank you.

I've got a few originals, and a couple of my machined replacements.
I brought one here to Mentone for Tommy Milton.
Send me an email reminder [email protected]
When I get back home, I'll follow up.
Just a matter of getting it to you reasonably...
Denis

Sounds like Denis is your best bet. Dad is completely retired. I’m not sure he even kept the records. You are correct about the date of manufacture. It also indicates that they are set #239 of over 3000. The R means the trailing edge has a reflex. You can’t just throw them on a hub bar and fly. They need to be balanced as a unit then tracked and test flown. Good luck.

Thank you Mike, yes I agree what needs to be done, I appreciate your input. Denis, I admire what you have achieved and watched with enthusiasm, I will contact you direct, thank you.

Mike, what is this 'reflex' you speak of?

As in the picture Jim shared it’s the trailing edge of the blade is pitched up a bit. It adds stability to the airfoil especially at higher speeds. The early Dragon Wings didn’t have it. In addition it gives more area for the bonding process.
