Mastbump- Thanks for those links! That has me thinking a little more. I like my large easy to read rotor tach, but what I simply want is a buzzer to come on when my normal 620 rotor rpm drops to 550 or so. I scan my gauges , but my biggest concern is if the governor ever decides to let the turbine rpm creap down and I am distracted away from my rotor tach. I can roll the throttle off slowly and it just doesn't get your attention like a buzzer would. I found a small laser that can count black and white marks reflecting off my rotorshaft, but do not know how to convert this info to an adjustable rpm alarm switch to turn on and off a buzzer. Stan
