Hello everyone, it has come time to sell my Father's single seat Dominator Gyro. My Dad was an avid pilot of over 50 years, he passed away in 2020, and had many different aircraft over the years including a 182, 182RG, Kitfox, FloatFox, Power Glider, Powered Parachute, and this Dominator Gyro which was one of his favorite things to fly.
This is a single seat Dominator with a blue head Rotax 582. It has a hydraulic pre-rotor and Warp Drive prop. It has a lot of other extras such as strobe & landing led lights, full seat harness, icom IC-A200 radio, and it comes with brand new rotor blades (we opened them up yesterday just to install and get pictures of taxiing it). We have all the documentation, manuals, flight & maintenance logs, etc.
Additionally it comes with a custom modified Cherokee enclosed trailer. The trailer comes prewired with lights and outlets to hook to a generator. The trailer is modified to haul the gyro, as well as the blades, and also has pully's and sawhorses for helping install the blades. Included with the trailer is a tool box full of tools as well as spare parts.
This is a very nice gyro with everything you need and all the bells & whistles- ready to go, and ready to fly. I do not fly, but we had a friend taxi it and spin up the rotor yesterday (09/10/2024) and everything worked great. It has not been flown in probably around 6 years. Please let me know if you have questions, or would like to come take a look. We are listing it for $17,500 or best offer( PRICE REDUCED NOW- $15,000) - we are willing to hear offers. I plan on putting in on facebook groups and barnstormers at the end of the week, but figured I would post it here first. I have videos of the rotor spinning and it bring taken down the runway if you would like me to send them to you.
