Do gyro pilots realize the joy we share just flying overhead?

It for the AUDIO = Hear the sheer joy in Chuck's grandsons voices in seeing a gyroplane fly-by!!!

Dave Bacon and I flew out to his desert dune buggy pad. We have to fly over the mountains to do so.
Chuck Tucker lives in the mountains so we decided to do a fly-by of his house.
Chuck did not see us but his grandsons did and videoed it for Chuck.
I had no idea we affected people on the ground like that.

The usual effect is "What the heck is that thing?" :)
 
I ended up on the front page of the local rag, with the headline IS IT A BIRD - IS IT A PLANE? etc., after I flew over a campsite one morning. Apparently caused some excitement. Spread the joy.
