title: Computer program user's manual for advanced general aviation propeller study
author: Worobel, R.
comment: the file contains a listing of a fortran program implementing the Hamilton Standard procedure for propeller calculation.
The program is 26 pages, if you undertake it to convert it to an ascii text file please let me know, I would then try to compile and run it.
From my experience automatic text conversion is not a bad point to start from but to turn it in a clean version that can be compiled and run
might take anything from 2-6 days (4-5 h work) of correcting the errors of the OCR program.

The last company I worked with at one point used "Fossil Power" as part of its designation. I kept on using this to indicate: last century, but still kicking....;-)

Or we could covert it to a modern programming language... though if the program itself is 26 pages printed that may take a bit.
I may look at this...

If you go for another language, Glyn, I would join the effort. I have used C/C++, Java and Python quite a bit, plus a host of other languages to various degrees. I log in only sporadically so just drop me a message, I will be notified of this via e-mail.

Cheers

It took six tries (no exaggeration) to get the document to download, but I have it now. That server is 1980's internet with Internet Explorer slow.
