Hi, all. I am in the process of installing a new engine in my Sportcopter Vortex. I have removed the Rotax 582. I was originally planning on sending this off to Rotax Rick to upgraded to a Rotax 670, but after much consideration and talking with other fellows on the forum, I am going a different direction. So.....
I have the following for sale:
Rotax 582 grey head with approximately 135 hrs ( I have the engine logs). It is the complete engine as it comes out of the Vortex.
This engine was put into service in 2004, and has not been run in the last 5 years. So, it needs to be gone through and be checked out and have rubber components replaced as per Rotax.
Engine, DCDI, Oil injection
Pulse fuel pump,
Key West voltage regulator,
Oil injector pump,
Coolant tank,
Complete muffler and exhaust header,
Pull starter
Rotax 'E' box ) 3:1, with starter,
Starter relay
Radiator (single core, approx 12.5 x 22)
