It is 50ºF (10ºC for you furriners) in South Florida at 3:00 PM.

I fear we have another ice age coming.

from what I understand

warm air holds more water, sea evaporates

warm airstream hits cold air stream and dumps it's load

if the air is warmer it carries more water

Now with more water in the airstream than id had a few years ago when it dumps it's load we get more cold wet and miserable than we used to.

so more chance of carb icing

Be happy Chuck .... you are just getting the edge of it .... guys like me are up in the dark colored areas .... -28C for over a week now

One picture with Florida circled is from a week ago .... Gabor said he was about 83*f at the time

The other picture is from today and shows Florida is a little cooler now.

"Just bringing"???

It's probably best if you actually wear them, not merely bring them along. Airport security and customs people can get agitated if you don't have anything on.

(sorry -- couldn't resist!)

Hey Chuck, if you don't like the 50 degree temp's send them up to Tennessee.

We only made 38 degrees today.

The bad part is it feels like a heat wave after the nine degrees earlier this week.

Stop ya bitchn.
Better n 45c, dry asa chip ( no rain since the fires 2 years ago), but still humid.

Yeh, global warm,n.
For years they bin telln us theres go,n to be bigger floods, longer drouts, hotter hots n colder colds.
I heard on the radio, a switched on broadcaster askn a wether spert bout the last coupla years.
He asked why we had a very mild winter, followed by an average summer, and why the cyclone frequency is at a 500 year low?
Gess wot, its climate change.

Mazen how many idiots are still spooked by this scam.
Gess if they never leave their sheltered airconditioned life styles, you could tell um anythn.

Yesterday it warmed up to 25 degrees, and it actually felt warm, at least it was 40 degrees warmer than the one day it was negative 15.

The official start of the rainy season in South Florida is June; yet it’s been drizzling for the past week in what should be our dry season.

But no serious rain, just enough wetness combined with the cold to make it miserable.

Count your blessings, Arnie.

You could live in Churchill and be Polar Bear bait.

Hey Chuck ..... I have a helicopter buddy who flies tourists and researchers during Polar bear season .... this year he posted a few pictures .... so if you need something to do during the cold spell click on the link below.

Language warning .... some good Polar Bear pictures .... some humor etc .... truck load of coyotes etc .... kind of a crazy bugger if you know what I mean

Look at his avatar .... years ago he flew out a Cessna that had crash landed in a lake .... flew it out piece by piece .... wings strapped to his bell 47 skids .... we all told him he was Nucking Futs and he has used that handle ever since :)

Been in Baja for a month now and enjoying the best Jan I can remember. High 70's to low 80's, No wind but had clouds for a week a while back. Played havoc with my solar.
Actually had 4 inches of rain, that is when the rain drops are 4 inches apart.:yo:
Yesterdays sunrise, if I did It OK.
