Has to be A...the other answers are so patently wrong.

The Skyraider pilots in Southeast Asia used to say: "No smoking within twelve hours of flight; no drinking within fifty feet of the plane.":D

"A" is most correct. Which statement is true regarding alcohol in the human system? (A) Alcohol renders a pilot more susceptible to hypoxia.

Reference AIM 8-1-1 "B" is incorrect because as little as one ounce of liquor, one bottle of beer, or four ounces of wine can impair flying skills. "C" is incorrect because there is simply no quick method to dissipate alcohol in the body or alleviate a hangover.

REDHORSE556CES mentioned smoking. While few of us fly at night, smoking 3 cigarettes in rapid succession can reduce night vision by 20% at sea level. It can produce a physiological altitude equivalency of 5000ft at sea level. Reference FM 1-301
