Need differential brakes landing off airport on slanted surface. Also have to manage the rotor accordingly too. Best to land up hill, but if surface is slick be prepared to slide backwards and on incline front wheel may pop up due to weight of engine. Make sure you have high rpm on rotor on take off to avoid rotor flap if you hit bumps in surface. It’s very hard to keep Gyro straight on take off if you have a sideways slant on surface. Especially if the grass is wet. You can do 180 to climb if trees are too high, but depends on Gyro capabilities. Be careful on beach for depressions in sand, and make sure both wheels are in same sand condition. Having on wheel in water and other is sand isn’t good.
