I had a premonition of something happening in TX yesterday when I saw a Texas Bed Bug in my back yard (we call them snapping turtles around here)...

Big THANK YOU to Texas!!!

After the story of the 95-year-old woman forced to remove her adult diaper to get through a TSA checkpoint, this news out of Texas should warm some hearts:

"The Texas bill aimed at criminalizing TSA groping of airline passengers, which was unanimously approved by the state House last month but dropped by its chief Senate sponsor in response to federal threats, has been revived in a special legislative session by Gov. Rick Perry. Today the House passed a revised version of the bill, which applies to a public servant who, “while acting under color of the person’s office or employment, without probable cause to believe the other person committed an offense, performs a search without effective consent for the purpose of granting access to a publicly accessible building or form of transportation” and “intentionally, knowingly or recklessly touches the anus, sexual organ, buttocks, or breast of the other person, including touching through the clothing.”

.

Don't count on it or get your hopes up. The revised bill is so watered down, it might as well not be a bill. Business as usuall.

I found one here in Lake Oswego Oregon . That thing was so flipping big and way faster then you would ever think .

See, business as usual...:twitch:

"The Texas legislature has failed to enact a law that would prevent the TSA from molesting travelers at airports around the state. A second proposed law died today on the final day of a special session despite support from Texas citizens and rallies held at the capitol."

In other business as usual news...

ATHENS (Reuters) - Greece's parliament approved deeply unpopular austerity measures despite worsening street violence on Wednesday, in a vote vital to secure international aid and prevent the euro zone's first sovereign debt default.

At least Iceland, someone, is getting fed up.

And someone thinks they can force you to contract:
CINCINNATI (AP) — In the first ruling by a federal appeals court on President Barack Obama's health care overhaul, a panel in Cincinnati affirmed Wednesday that Congress can require Americans to have minimum insurance coverage.

A "how many times have you heard this":
WASHINGTON (AP) — In a blunt challenge to Republicans in Congress, President Barack Obama insisted Wednesday that elimination of selected tax breaks for oil companies and the super-wealthy must be included in any deficit reduction plan.

Uh,,, the super-wealthy already don't pay any taxes, so how's that going to work?

Lastly, to sum it all up with:
Insanity:der:: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
Albert Einstein

The people: :flame: Political critters: :lalala:
