No manhandling when you can tow your gyro. Yup he made that too.

Anyone savvy enough to copy a Dominator all flying tail should also be savvy enough to copy the anti-servo tab; without which it becomes a tail wagger feet on the pedals and feet off is likely to swap ends.

Hi Chuck. I believe Denis' tail is separate VS/Rudder, but it resembles the all-flying tail.

Not an all flying tail Chuck.

If so, not the first time I’ve misinterpreted a photo.
All flying control surfaces work just fine if properly designed.
If not properly designed, they're awful.

I was looking for a kick starter or “glow plugs” but found much more. Got to see two Nano Fusions, one yellow one red. Other pics were too large to load. I’ll work on that. Vance Breese and I caught up on all things CFI to CFI.

Thank you for all you have taught me and the continued inspiration Chris.

I am proud to know you and try to emulate you as a flight instructor.

I appreciate how gentle you are with me when we have a divergence of opinion.

I made it to Van Horn, Texas; 1,100 statute miles from home in Nipomo, CA. Hope to make it to Mobile tomorrow and then Monday visit the Tallahassee Automobile Museum and then on to a visit to the Don Garlits drag racing museum in Ocala and the Florida Air Museum in Lake Land before landing in Wauchula Tuesday evening. The Naval Air Museum appears to be closed due to me without a DOD ID card. Look forward to see you all there.
Vance,
It was a pleasure meeting you and hope to meet again! We had to dash back north to miss the incoming weather, and I am sorry we didn't get a chance to chat more.

Cheers!

Jon

Would you guys post more photos of gyros please if you have some time? Thanks!

I Just wanted to take a moment and thank Denis from Gyrotechnic for loaning a fellow Carolina Barnstormers member (Barry T.) a set of rotors to fly during Bensen Days. It was Great to see everyone again and a special Thanks to Callie, Eric, Scott and Jason for such a great event despite the numerous issues from being essentially delayed a year due to Covid.

Also a special Thanks to Slo-Joe and Dave for loaning me materials, tools, use of your Tig, feeding us on Sunday, transportation to the Hotel, etc...I owe you guys Big Time! See y'all at KAFP next Month!

One more successfully “shrunk” pic. Intro to me was “this is a SnoBird”. Too many changes make it a one of a kind to me. I’ll see if I can load some others. Don’t shoot the pic taker.
