The kit I have for sale is not assembled, the last photo is to show what it would look like assembled.

I am selling an almost complete kit. The kit was given to me in my uncle's estate. He was very meticulous, he worked for Nasa back in the day when they were doing all the aerogel stuff. He had a company that built things for satellites and the B1 bomber. He was in Vietnam and was exposed to agent orange, He died shortly after reaching retirement in his 60s, in 2014. Which leads me to believe that this kit was bought around 2004 to 2010. I'm the only person in our immediate family that has an aviation background, so it was given to me. Due to a recent back injury this autogyro is a little too dangerous for me to make use of.

The kit includes all the required gauges and instrumentation. The kit has been stored inside in a dry cool place its entire life, I did take the frame and fiberglass out of storage for photos, The frame and the fiberglass have not been sitting outside for more than 20 minutes. The Lycoming 320 has a $3,500 core value, I have a few offers on the motor by itself but I would like to sell the whole kite as a complete package. The only thing missing is the top rotor. I have the 3 bladed wooden pusher propeller, One of the blades has a couple super small nicks in the trailing edge, 1/4 inch X 1/4 inch at most. I believe it's set up for a power assisted upper rotor, There's a decent sized electric motor integrated into the rotor head unit assembly. It also seems to have two sets of wheels. 3 large wheels and 3 small wheels. I'm pretty sure my uncle had purchased every little upgrade part that was available. From my understanding the Lycoming 320 is the biggest motor that can put on a Barnett. Whoever buys this kit is going to end up with the Rolex of Barnett autogyros. The picture of a bunch of stuff piled in a corner is taken with a high res camera. That box right up front has all the instruments written on/in it.

There are completed BARNETT J4B2 autogyros for sale around $12,000 (http://www.joewhite.net/gyroplane/index.html) The autogryo for sale in this link has the cheaper Subaru flat 4 cylinder motor.

I'm currently asking $6,500.
Please leave a comment if my price is too high. I wasn't really sure what to charge for this thing. Let me know if you want me to take betters pictures of any specific items in the kit. Please let me know if it's junk. I'm wondering if I should just take the $3,500 for the motor and throw everything else away. Let me know if you want the kit without the motor or if you just want the motor and not the kit. Thanks
