It was much easier to start a new thread on the AVE Mizar Aircar / Flying Pinto than high jacking my own previous thread on Pressure Jet Helicopters.

I had seen up close the and sat inside the Mizar Aircar at Van Nuys Airport and at near by Galpin Ford Dealership. I personally am not big fan of the flying car concept, never-the-less, this one had the most promise compared to previous attempts.

By the way, I was on this date, 11 Sept 1973 where as the designer was killed when one of the wings folded up due to the failure of one of the attach points of one of the wing struts. I was out in the street playing catch with one of my neighborhood friends when my Dad arrived home from work, telling me that the Flying Pinto had crashed.
