Artur Trendak passed away. He made some very good gyroplanes. I spoke to him on occasion. He was a very nice gentleman who knew his stuff.
Always went above and beyond for customers. He will be missed. Pray for the family.
 
Oh man. That is sad news. I first met him in Germany when my friend and colleague in trikes introduced me to him at Aero airshow in 2014 I think. He was hoping for me to help him import. Celier and him were right in the middle of their falling out and things were not clear and messy.
I believe he had a son who I hope will carry on his company and legacy. RIP.
 
Very sad to hear this news. I met Artur a couple of times in the UK and also on a tour of his Trendak Aviation factory in Poland. He was kind enough to help me with my many requests over the years for gyro production data. His son Michael has been involved with the business for a number of years and will hopefully carry it onwards. Condolences to the Trendak family.
