I'm looking at buying a air command with a nose pod. I tried sitiing in it and it was A little tight. My knees almost hit the dash. Can you move the nose pod forward a few inches or do tall pilots fly like this and really don't have a issue with it.

Remove it & enjoy open air flying ! I wonder how comfy you would be without it ?

If the problem is your knees hitting the dash panel, just remake the dash panel shorter and move the gauges up. Very simple fix. I made a new on for mine using a sheet of 1/8" ABS plastic. I cut the new shape out of a piece of MDF, Then I screwed the plastic to the MDF and used a heat gun to bend the plastic over the edges. Remove it from the MDF, trim the excess, and cut your new holes. It took about 2-3 hrs.

I have long legs and modify my Air Commands for better seating. The seat can be moved back 30-40mm. I also make an instrument panel with larger cutouts so I don't bump my shins and knees on it.
