Thanks Ed, it does look a bit more dramatic with that low mounted camera than it is, but yes the feed back you get with 'G' loading is totally missing which does make it look a bit strange.
Stan you have no idea. Those IFR flights one is trying to get as high as possible for fuel economy, if you aren't above weather you are so high that you see very little detail on the ground. This flying is so totally different. So much more by feel and sight. Stick, rudder, feed back from your seat, airspeed, wind in your face. Just a total delight.
Looking great Leigh. Thanks fr the ride. You know that camera did a really good job or was the pilot that made it look so smooth? LOL. Thanks for the ride. That curved road is great you'll find the wind in your favor no matter where its coming from you just fly to the appropriate portion of it
Thanks Gabor, no just lucky that the gyro flies very smoothly and the camera is great. Yes love following the curves. Really spoiled for choice on the airfield, just mowed, very smooth and an abundance of runways and perimeter track to land on. It is radio required and PPO so we a movements board for inbound and outbound traffic. During the week very quiet. Also always an ear and eye out for stray traffic. The wind can be very variable so have lots of crosswind landing practice.
Thank you Kevin, yes it is a very good little vid cam and does take very nice shots. I have been pleased with the results I get with it.
