A Students X-Country

Hi All! I was out on a X-Country today with a student and managed to get a few shots for the forum. I'm sorry they are not from a gyro. But I pretty thrilled they are from a CUB!!! Love that airplane!!

#1 is our first stop. New Holstein airport, East of Lake Winnebago

#2 is a windfarm under construction east of the lake.

#3 is also the windfarm.

#1 is a prop lying on the ground while waiting for the pylon to be finished.
This farm had about 20 that were done and at least that many under construction.

#2 is a nice shot of Fondulac over the nose of the CUB

Not to much progress with THE COLD we have but your here too so you know. I cant get my hangar all that warm. I am working on little stuff that I can take to the shop.

Great shots Kandace!

I especially like the one with the prop on the ground. They are MASSIVE.

I have been seeing parts of these things on semi trucks, blades, mounts and such traveling East from Cincinnati on the highway over the past couple of months. I wonder if they were headed your way to to another farm?

Your photos enlarge nicely when clicked on. You have done a better job then most in reducing them for posting on the forum. You met the file size limit but still have a nice large clear photo when clicked on.
