A friend stopped by SMX

Peter stopped by the Santa Maria Public Airport to pick up his Grand Champion trophy from the Mentone PRA Convention and some other stuff that I had taken on to lighten his load; Peter flew, I drove.

He dropped off a trophy he had for me from the Bensen Days I had missed because I was in the middle of a very complex real estate transaction that has had an extraordinary positive outcome because of my presence in Caifornia.

The Carolina Barnstormers presented me with an achievement award for “Gyroplane Ambassador”!

I feel the Carolina Barnstormers do a great deal to promote gyroplanes and am proud to know them.

I am truly honored and will find a prominent place in the hangar to display the lovely trophy.

Although we're proud to claim him as ours, if he was a foreign ambassador, we could call him "His Excellency." It has a nice ring to it.
