Hi All;

Just joined the forum the other day and here's my first post. I'm aware that FAA regs in the States do not allow for factory built, fully assembled gyros to be imported into the USA and that they can only be brought in in kit form and then assembled there, but is there a similar rule in Canada? I've noted that there are training outfits in Quebec and a couple here in Ontario that are operating European machines (DTA J-Ro, Magni's, ELA, and various AutoGyro models), but I can find no mention if they're factory built or kit built machines, and I've perused the Transport Canada regs but can't seem to find mention one way or the other. Have I missed something?

Give those importers a jingle. Let us know what you discover.

Welcome to the Rotary Wing Forum Neil!

There have been several posters who have written about buying factory assembled gyroplanes in Canada.

I have found that it is best to go straight to the authority for the answers.

Good luck with your gyroplane adventure.

it's completely assemble unit ready to go from the company.
and the Magni gyro's are wow impressive go see one like flying a Lincoln.

Proof Canada is way ahead of the US in so many ways!
