Which way is the best way for a 532 road tax to run with the pugs point to the ground or the plugs point to the sky in other words does engine run best upside down or right side up

It’s best to run it plugs up. It can be run upside down however, you can get hot spots in the cooling system. Plus the main bearings are always dry on start up. The engine is plugs up in the snow sled it originally went in.

As far as thrustlines go -- remember that you have the choice of rotating the gearbox so the prop shaft is offset either above or below the crankshaft. This affects the lineup of the CG and thrustline.
