503 dual carb

I’m helping with a dual carb conversion and I can’t remember if there is a balance tube connecting the carbs. I would appreciate anyone with a dual carb 503 posting a couple of photos of the carbs as installed. I need a view that would clearly show the installation. Thanks much PS the manual doesn’t show or describe the set up very clearly. I tried looking it up and googling a photo.

It's been a while since I had a 503, but I'm pretty sure there was no balance tube. I'll dig through my photos later when I'm on my home PC and see if I have anything useful.
