Nicholas you have machining capability correct? You could build your own. You just have to rebalance the blades with the new hub with a water level.

Mike my only problem is bending the coning angle. I am machining some dies so i can take to a strong bending press and try.

We did it with a 10 ton press that uses a bottle jack to provide the hydraulic pressure. The press was pushed down onto a round piece of aluminum that was machined flat on one side. That was was placed on the hub bar that was placed between two flat steel plates. The press pushed down until the hub bent to the correct angle as measured with a smart level equally on both sides. Some people actually start with 1” barstock and machine it down with the correct coning angle into it.

this is what i am doing now.... but i am machining top and bottom dies. the goal is to press down till both dies meet with the bar between them. I will re-machinery the depth till i manage to get the correct coning angle when the dies bottom out.

For 1-2 feet hubs i do machine the coning angle out of a thicker bar... but for 4 feet long that will waste a lot of material.
