    ch7 turbo

Those Oz reports a compleat bullsh1t. As Bones said, bad maintainance and greneral abuse is the cause, and itd have the same effect on any machine. The Oz public service too the easy road, blame the machine. Less paper work and hopefully scare the machine away. Flying after sundown and run,n...

Rotax with two mufflers on the MTO

People f*** around with mufflers on gyros, wen the biggest noise maker is only 12" behind it. I never had a muffler on the ferel. Only time it was noisier was at warmup. In the air, buggerall difference to a muffled machine, coz they both have a 6' fan.

    gyro vs r22 for mustering

If you know your machine, and its properly built for high rate low level, there is no shaded area ina gyro. At worst, you may bend a gear strut. Not so forgiven them light bladed Robbies.

Proper Technique For Zero Rollout Landing Engine Out

Yes, energised simply overspeeding the rotor with >1G, usualy a bank, or an abrupt well timed pullup from a steep, slow decent, so you have the extra lift to stop n settle.

Proper Technique For Zero Rollout Landing Engine Out

Yes Jeff, 0 roll in calm air is easily doable ina gyro. Generaly, a streight in approach will have 3-5' roll, but with a little practice, an energised approach ( banking just before touching down) will give consitstant 0 rolls.

    magni wire strike UK

Youv got the perfect wire cutter just above your head now. If your lucky enuf to see the wire, but not lucky enuf to be able to avoid it, yank side stick and cut that sucker with the rotor. ;)

    R22 vs Helicycle

Just an uneducated gess RK, but theoreticaly, the HS should win hands down, mainly coz of the power/weight thingy for wot you want to do with it. But in reality, as i mentioned earlier, the power responce rates between a few pistons and a turbine would be worlds apart. As you know, wen you want...
