Did he or the passenger drop an item in the cockpit that jammed the controls? Did an item of their luggage come lose and jam the controls. Other options no doubt exist too If you look at the document index on the NTSB you will see a statement from a named FAA inspector. He inspected the...

Phil - you tell us your friend says the NTSB didn't inspect the wreck and the pilot suspected control failure - the NTSB report refers to that suggestion but also makes clear that the FAA did repeat did examine the wreckage and "A cyclic push/pull tube was fractured consistent with damage...

Beware a mutated second wave. I recommend reading Pale Rider by Laura Spinney. A history of the 1918 pandemic published in 2018. Many many overlaps with today.

The example in your advert claims to have just 1 flight hour since being built in 1997. One hour in the air in 23 years. Not a regular flyer. Does it have a current German registration - is it currently airworthy. Does it make sense - could it be a money pit. Good luck with your due...

    Oshkosh 2020

I respect the decision by the EAA, it's the right thing to do - approx 600,000 people in 2018, from all over the USA and from overseas too. A great gathering to cross infect others and take back to your own community, family and friends. The second wave of the 1918/1919 pandemic was far...
