Currently the expected price is:

Base Price

£150,000 + VAT (pre-order now)

Aircraft Options

Factory Assisted Build (£20,000+VAT)
Range Extender Generator (£50,000+VAT)
Additional battery pack (£25,000+VAT)
Ballistic Parachute (£20,000+VAT)

All up 250 + vat. For fun, what would you expect the final price to be, if they stay on timeline for 2024 delivery?

I see renderings. Hard to get excited without an actual type specimen. But I do hope it comes to fruition.

ETA: Just saw your post, Don. Nice concept model. Was more than I was expecting. Here's hoping. Thanks for the video post.

Is that about 1/10 scale R/C model?

Changed my estimate when I looked at the surface of the driveway at 56 second mark. probably about a 2-foot wingspan.

I am concerned that the website doesn't have an "about" or "team" page.

I am also concerned about the youtube video:
  • They have disabled comments
  • They do not mention it is a scale model aircraft been flown
  • They state "order" instead of "pre-order - maybe"
The lack of clarification that the flight demonstration is of a scaled model feels like watching a Nikolai roll down a hill, hopefully their company doesn't roll down the hill, but these are very concerning red flags.

Though there are also things I like, such as the approach they've taken to design and the honesty about the aircraft and suppliers on their website. More honesty and more transparency would be welcome.

I wasn't 100% sure it was a model, but you are spot on. Not seeing an actual human get into it and fly it was what made me suspicious. Nothing in the heading of the video is a lie, but it is misleading.

The GPS antenna on the rear fuselage is probably between 1.5 and 2 inches in diameter. If that is so, the wingspan could be as big as 4 feet. I wish they had identified it as a model before they asked me for $180,000.
