Hi everyone.

I have now bought the successor to this radio, the ATR833.
So this will be surplus to requirements, as soon as I get them swapped.
Anyone interested?

Cheers
Erik

How much do you expect to sell for?? . . .First pilot

I am asking $200...
That can't be too much.
I don't know about the postage, though.

Cheers

That’s a bargain!
I have rheb833 now as well. Hardly a difference between the older one and new just the display and some small stuff nice buy for someone

A few days ago I finally got to check the radio, the Funke ATR 500. My wife inside the house with my Yaesu handheld
and myself in the gyro on the ground in the back garden. Of course I used a frequency that should be ok for testing (122.500).
My wife said, my mic volume was low, but I didn't bother to adjust the volume in the settings. I wanted to get off the air as soon as possible.

From what I've read, the ATR500 is more analog and the ATR833 is more digital. They both have intercom for two and can listen in
on two channels at once. I don't know much more, as I'm not yet licensed to use it.

I tried to email First Pilot with an offer on another identical (but prettier) ATR500, but so far he hasn't responded.
A long time has gone by, so I won't blame him for losing interest. I offered him a friend's radio, because my gyro was flown illegaly
by the former owner and I don't think he used the radio for years. So one small pushbutton had become stuck - I wanted him to have
the nicest of those two. I have since freed the button, so I could change channel to check it.

Cheers
Erik
