About a year ago, I started greeting Alex with a big, loud... "LAZY BOY!!!" ...using the best Russian accent that I could muster and maybe a choice explicative thrown in. :) (A greeting I learned from him. Ha, Ha!)

We have at least 8 gyros here already and about twice as many gyro heads, and the number is growing.
Yesterday evening there was no wind and the flying was glorious.

Hey folks, I checked with Nandi S., Vice President of EAA 172 (our primary host for this weekend) and he confirmed that Wrens Fly-in is 100% ON as planned and that any (weather related) rumors to the contrary are false.

Ha ha. Cool. I believe the last time E.B. came to Wrens was 2008... my very first year. I asked him in one or two subsequent years if he could pay us a visit, but no luck those years. It would be great to have the whole family pay us a another visit! ...and maybe Dick and Carol too? How cool...
