Hi John, I'm in the southwest mountains of New Mexico. I'm currently building a pitbull, extending the bodyand frame. The Pitbull has taken alot of flack on this forum but it's probably the closest to the oldtime '30's type you're likely to get besides the Littlewing. Living at close to eight thousand feet I'm adding a turbo to the engine for sea level performance not hot rodding. Don't be discouraged by negitive attitudes towards the Pitbull but keep on trucking on your aircraft. I don't know the status of the company. When I'm finished building I will post for those interested in knowing the Pitbull is a viable option. If you're looking for a builders log there is at least one that a fellow by the name of John Gardner had. He was building a Pitbull once and living in the northwest but has since moved to the midwest. Maybe you could find his old site. Good luck to you and your building efforts. Jim
