Hi Birdy, I have a question about an incident you posted about. I found a thread where you experienced a loud crack from the rotor upon a hard turn. My question is the sound and location. I experienced a drastic pitch change in a gyro with a fiberglass cabin...spit me right out the left side...

treesurfer, I responded and then edited my post, as it caused another party some heartburn. The gyro is located in Lk. Placid for 10k. Thank You for your interest. Phil.

No Tim, no money down just sell both machines by the end of the month. However, I have not had any serious buyers. Nobody has said they want to buy. I have had questions and photo requests and interested people, but no one has said I want it and how do I get it....like I do when I try to buy...

thomasant....follow the thread, it says 20% off with the sale of both gyros by the end of the month. And, the RAF isn't sold yet. The rest is just my sarcasm, don't worry, even the people that are close to me call me an asshole.

It is a 582 Ebox 68" Kiev prop and suspension....it is a bad ass gyro, no bones about it. I have put oil injection and a 5 gallon extra fuel tank on it. Flew it again last weekend, but 2 hours a week just isn't much. As for the RAF, It's a nice machine, just not my cup of tea. The RAF bill of...

you can't sell **** here...never could. After my offer expires I'll sell it on ebay like most things. I have had good luck on barnstormers also. pretty fed up with the community here. I've also offered to fly with people and have rarely gotten a taker. I fly to flyins and get to watch everyone...

    Behind the power curve

I've done 30', behind the power curve, with a Bensen, Bensen blades, mac....and the engine went silent. It was not soft, but no damage. I was trying to get back to the runway with a sick engine and couldn't get over the powerlines, then, no engine. Didn't care about the runway anymore.

    Gyroplane accidents and Training.

use the definition or reality of your choice. I use the gyro for transportation to see friends and family, I prefer it to the automobile. I am fortunate to have chosen to live in an area rural enough to be able to land at their property or on lightly traveled roads close to their residences. I...

OK...dropping the price of both machines by 20%....that makes the RAF 20K , and the Air Command 8k Here's the catch, They BOTH have to be sold and moved out by the end of the month, or there's no deal. There are more than 8k worth of parts on the Air Command and the RAF is an EJ22 with Sport...

    Gyroplane accidents and Training.

Vance, in response to a page and a half ago. A lawn mower is used for destructive purposes, in close proximity of the operator. There are a slew of placards, warnings, and cautions associated with them. There are thousands of incidents each year reported and some percentage not. I have been...

    Gyroplane accidents and Training.

flying a gyroplane is a dangerous activity? sheltered? I don't know why this is hitting me wrong tonight. I keep seeing this assumption pop up. I have never had a lesson. Just a book and patience, along with honesty to myself during my acquaintence with a gyro. I fly for relaxation. I used...
