I have always loved machines with engines, started with motorcycles and then I went to cars.
Rebuilding and tune up the engine was my favourite hobby. Then I was attracted to aviation, I had a plan to scratch build an autogyro of a Swedish design. I bought the drawing and had “approval” from my fiancée to go ahead. I started training for PPL and finished in 1985. Then a friend of my showed up at the door with a magazine showing a Van’s RV-6. A quick chance in direction was made; building the RV-6 was wonderful. And it was airborne in 1991. After many hours in the air and after visit almost every country in Europe I was ready for new challenges. The new project was a Hughes 269a. Now I’m ready for a Rotorway
