I hate to say it but there's something fishy goin' on in this country lately.
Nothing seems to make sense anymore.
And, usually, when that happens, there's someone - somewhere - pullin' some strings. Manipulation is sometimes the only explanation for so much stuff that doesn't add up. Need to find out who's doin' it and why.
It's gettin' close to time for the PEOPLE to take control.

Ben, I whole heartedly agree! But while disbanding that din of iniquity, they should also wipe out the DEA and their phony "War on Drugs". The hypocrisy of that agency I have seen over the past twenty years would make any honest person sick! I could tell some stories that would make you wonder how they get away with it! Don't get me started on the abuses of the "RICO" act.
But at least in this instance the ATF truly doesn't have a unique job. What is their mission? They are TAX COLLECTORS for specific taxes, doesn't the IRS collect taxes already? Do we NEED a group of heavily armed feds to collect taxes on firearms and beer and cigarettes? As a gun dealer, I pay all my taxes on time every time or I lose my license, do I need someone with a gun and a badge to come in and tell me I need to pay my taxes on time every time?
No not even a little.
I have two great compliance inspectors whom I like very much, but what exactly is the need for the enforcement side? Shooting women in the head (Lon Huriachi) or burning 86 or more people alive or perhaps just to sell guns to the cartels so they can bump up their numbers to get funding

At least the Arabs get pissed off at the Gov't and take to the streets to yell about it. Will we ever be riled enough to do the same?

It does not matter how small the offense or ridiculous the claim. Armed men will come and destroy you if you do not submit. It does not matter which "party" is in control. They all operate the same. They are all thugs in different color suits, this has been going on since the birth of time.. Only a truly voluntary society is a safe one and a fair one.

Maybe you guys are starting to pay attention. Claims that 911 was an "inside job" are met with cat calls and conspiracy insults. Yet these same voices forget that in 1993 the WTC was bombed by and under the direction of the FBI. Waco, Ruby Ridge, TWA 800, OKC bombing, Anthrax from Fort Detrick, all acts of government violence and acts of terror to further only one cause. U.S Government running guns and drugs goes back decades. Ben is waking up to this latest scandal, this is OLD news.. Some drug runner is shot in the ass by ICE agents, they get 12 and 13 years. ICE agent is killed. Politicians yawn, fluff their feathers and willingly feed more bodies into the meat grinder. They could shut down the problem tomorrow but there is too much money in illegal guns and drugs, and all that $$ is going to the highest places in our system.

I saw today on the news channel that the ICE agent Brian Terry that was killed on the border was killed with a gun that was reported as going to Mexico under this project. Another example of problem, reaction solution. Blood on our governments hands. Tragic one our own got killed. The liability from this action or lack thereof will have our suits doing what they always do. Lie, obfuscate, misdirect......remember "weapons of mass destruction ? . How many civilians are dead, displaced because we allow our talking heads on t.v to feed us this b.s. and rally our politicians to rape the world for whatever reason.

Karma from all of this is going to be a "bitch" as they say.

Yup, follow the money in all cases. Even local airport management. The city was too cheap to hire a good manager for 80K/year, but hired a 3rd party agency with no airport management experience for $285K with all the promises to increase revenue. Such garbage. Can you say "kickback"?

Ben, I apologize for painting with a broad brush, you said nothing that I should have taken as you ever being in the dark. On the contrary you HAVE been paying attention and listed previous major government assaults against the people who they were supposed to serve. Again, accept my apology.

But, what I do make fun of is someone like "hilberg" . Hill berg has NOT been paying attention. All of the supposed under cover ops had already identified the critical players in the terrorist cells that were "responsible" for 911.

This latest gun running scandal speaks to more than a gun running op. It was a business model. I mean, how many guns were going to be enough before they were going to stop it ? 100, 500, 1000, 10,000 ? Answer is they were not. The silver lining with the running guns is that by letting guns to mexico, the warring drug cartels could go and kill each other a lot faster ! But the whole thing is absurd and bodies are the result.

I respect Bud's opinion but there are over two dozen buildings that have been pre wired with self destruct systems for a variety of reasons. Most are sensitive government buildings, the WTC towers qualify, there are a few non gov buildings but anyone who has done even a small investagation into the 3 buildings that were demolished on that day, need only look at WTC "7" building and tell me that was not a controlled demolition so if you cannot deny that 7 was "pulled" then why would it be so hard to believe that 1 & 2 were popped ? especially when our own government tried to topple the one tower back in 93'
