MEGAN 10-14-10

My 12 year old grandaughter loves to fly with Grandpa. She has flown in every airplane, (and now Rotorcraft) I have owned since she was 4 years old.

I have 5 grandsons, but only one Grandaughter. She like her brother is out of school for Fall Break.

SO ........ we went for an adventure (and some lunch).

I have fantastic grandkids that think grandpa hung the moon. When my grandson Jake was 4 years old he saw me taxing out from the house in my 210.

A short while later he pointed to the sky and told a visitor, "my grandpa made those clouds".

How do you live up to that?

She is 12, and as cute as she can be. But, as with many 12 year old girls, she has a flair for drama.

We are headed out to Southern California with Cody and Megan this week. My wife and I are taking them to Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm while they are out of school for fall break. Just another adventure! This time I will be flying my 2007 Dodge Charger, as my Cessna 210 is down for an engine and prop overhaul.

Wish I could put the Xenon in my suitcase, and fly up to your place, but alas, so many adventures, so little time.

I think The Magnificent Seven has one of the greatest soundtracks ever written, and a great fit for this video. But I must confess, in a testimony to the power of great advertising, I still want to light up a Marlboro when I hear it!
