what a nice place you have there, room for Gyros and a Helicopter landing zone.

great pics thanks for posting them.

What a great day yesterday, Tom and Dick flying down from Denver in Tom's R-44 was very cool. It was great finally meeting Tom in person for the first time and it was great seeing Dick again. I also want to thank Mark and his wife for welcoming all of us to their home, what a great place.
I felt a bit underclassed flying with this group because these were some very sweet top of the line machines that I was flying with but they did not make me feel that way at all, I was very welcome to be a part of the group in my flying lawn chair.
Thanks guys, I had a great day.

That's a nice chair you have there. Best seat in the county some days I would guess.

You are always welcome at my house Todd...

That all happened in the front yard.

Here is the view looking out my back door.

My place is always open to passing Rotorcraft to stop and take a break.

Thanks Kia

My wife has quarter horses, plus one is my daughter's and one my granddaughter's. I have my airplane and my Gyro, so this is the perfect place for us, horse property on an airport.

We bought 26 years ago when the lots were affordable. Our 3 kids grew up here. Our youngest son is working on an aviation career (He just got his Multi-engine Comm. /Instrument rating.) I guess it should be no surpise he caught the flying bug, he grew up on an airport.

Glad we finally got to go for a ride together in the Xenon. The time just flew by. I thoroughly enjoyed our flight.

Mark, Thank you so much for taking me up in your Xenon, I do understand why so many people hold the Xenon in such high reguards, it is a beautiful aircraft and it is simply a dream to fly.... needless to say I was impressed.
Thank you so much for the wonderful ride.
(Lets do it again) hint hint

Mark,

It is sounding to me like you might be just the kind of man that can pull a few people together to get a PRA chapter started in Colorado. You sure have a lot more rotorcraft there to get started with than we had we we Started the Utah Rotorcraft Association. If you are interested at all and want some help to get it started, I would be happy to help out any way I can. We really need more groups out here in the west and I know there are enough rotorcraft enthusiasts in your area, it's just a matter of finding someone that is willing to take responsibility for getting the group started. It is sure worth it. It's great to be able to get together with friends that share your passion for flying and understand the kinds of issues you face. Let me know if I can be of any help at all.

Thanks Doug

Funny you should mention that. Dick Goddard (former president of the former PRA Chapter 57 - Rocky Mountain Rotorwing Association) and I were discussing that very thing last weekend.

I was thinking of Colorado RotorCraft Association. (Mark's Gyro Flyin Buddies was a distant second choice.)

Mark,

If you want to formally crank it back up, get the paperwork from Dave Bacon, get tips from Doug, and stay in touch with me (PRA NW/Mtn Regional Rep) so i can keep you up to speed on anything from PRA affecting your chapter. We have a real rotorcraft renaissance going on here in the west, and it'll be great to have your guys as part of it!
