Aviomania, G1sB Genesis
Fabrication of my kit started in early May and I'm hoping that I will take delivery early in Sept. I will be documenting the build on a new website and plan to post updates here as I progress but will be using the new website as sort of a build log, with the log in the FAA 51% format.

Link to the website is Building a G1sB

I've already taken a look at a flying G1SE and have spoken with a new owner of another G1SE in New Mexico who is about ready for the certification process. If you are building an Aviomania and can tolerate a visit or discussion let me know.

I'll look forward to following your progress. Good luck and I hope the experience is as good as the dream.

Link doesn't work for me!!!

Air shipment confirmed for 28 Aug. Entered my basic info into the FAA AWC portal! Waiting, patiently now (not)!

YES!!! Soon master of your own destiny!!!
I'm so excited for you and you have a ride that will fly safely in more of the flight envelope than 98% on the market today including torque roll control. It's not much more but every bit helps if you enter the no man's land...

Working on the ARGON 915 should be ready for inspection in 4 or 5 days. Then will finish the TriBull (PitBull converted to tricycle gear) at least 3 weeks more and get her registered for the club.
Then I get to work on my Genesis G1Sa with the SB pod and upgrades except for the brakes IIRC.
Cannot wait to fly with you in a flight of two Genesis at least on my way to Mentone we could meet at an airport near you????
Yours is yellow? right?
Mine is Ferrari Red but I'm polishing the mast motor mount and some of the other parts to look like chrome.

And a 912!!! Gee's you will only need 3/4 throttle and she's going to climb like a rocketship with full power.

John, let's fly 2 Genesis machines, love it!
What airport would you be flying out of?
I want to look it up and plan the route. Also, you might want to come to the party?

For PRA 60th we have an ARGON 915 with Dave Bacon and Ron Stubol flying her to both Mentone and Osh.
I'll either be flying in Chuck RAF, if registered, with him or my Genesis when the weather is good.
We will have at least one ground support truck and trailer for the Genesis if I'm in the RAF. Because she/Genesis is coming to be flown.

Now, what few know... Because it's PRA 60th we will advertise to pick up pilots in a bus and their rides in a tractor-trailer and create a route to pick up anyone who wants to come.
Share the cost if PRA does not have the funds. But I'll try and create the funding and then hope the board will vote yes!
I want to do that from the N.Y. and F.L. too.

As far as I know now KJCT, Kimble County, right on I-10.
Bobby,

I highly recommend the Llano airport over Junction. It's 11 miles farther drive for you, but the 3,000 ft. x 300 ft. grass strip is aligned with the prevailing winds. I haven't been to Junction in person, but the map view looks like the grass will have a direct crosswind.

You could practice on the paved runway, but the grass is MUCH more forgiving for training and looks twice as wide in Llano.

Eric:. Thanks, I'll give them a try, issue for me is also going to be hangar space. I'll give Llano a call.

Let's make it three. :)

Maybe four when Brian finishes his build.
Antony, nice to see that you have succesfully completed the Riotax modification to your Aviomania Genesis Sport. Please email me ( or whatsapp)....
