Please stop and get some flight instruction from a different instructor.

In my opinion your technique is badly flawed rather than poorly performed.

In my opinion it is only luck you have not rolled her over.

From the Cavalon POH

4.14 Landing

Align gyroplane with rudder and correct drift with lateral control input, even if this results in a side slip indication

Maintain approach speed until approximately 5m (15ft) above runway

Initiate round out to reduce sink rate and let ground approach

Perform final flare close to ground as speed will decay rapidly

Let gyroplane settle on main gear with nose wheel slightly above the ground

Hold nose wheel closely above ground and let it sit down with pedals neutral at the lowest possible ground speed

Maintain aft control stick to reduce speed until walking speed. Wheel brake may be used to assist, if needed

CAUTION Touching down with the nose wheel pointing left or right, and with a run-on speed, will cause the wheel to ‘grab’ in that direction. If left uncorrected the aircraft will try to turn in that direction, possibly resulting in a roll-over. Always lower the nose at low ground speed, with the nose wheel straight.

Yeah, for Cavalon it might be a more serious problem than for Magni, because of flawed (IMO) design of the front landing gear. That flaw is one of the reasons I chose Magni over Autogyro.

Please stop and get some flight instruction from a different instructor.

Why do you blame the instructor for what is clearly my fault?

I like my instructor very much, so no reason to look for another one.

Yeah I couldn’t watch the video. Had to stop it, Land on mains with limited forward motion then lower nose wheel. Of course easier said then done, but thanks for posting. When I have bad day, I’ll just put it in the hanger and try later... :)

M24C FLIGHT MANUAL.

4.14.2 LANDING Power - idle Speed - 65 mph [55Kn] Maintain alignment with runway with pedals and control stick. At 2-3 metres from ground - first flare gently to reduce the angle of descent with a slight reduction of speed. Close to the ground - start soft and progressive flare to level-off in ground effect. In ground effect, with a nose-up attitude continue the flare until the main wheels touch the ground. To stop the gyroplane upon contact with the ground, progressively move the control stick to rear limit stop. Use the rudder pedals to control the gyroplane’s direction.

I suggested getting a different instructor because in my opinion the one you have now was not able to teach you the basics of landing a gyroplane as explained in the flight manual above.

Sometimes a different instructor can find the key to unlock a particular challenge.

Flying with another instructor does not mean you are replacing the one you have now; only that you want to learn something that has so far eluded you.

I have flown with 37 CFIs and learned something from each of them.

One of them in a Magni M24.

Vance, thanks, but I do have Magni Flight Manual, no need to post it here. And yes, I did read it.
Why did you go through 37(!) CFIs?
I did not even know there are so many of them exist, I only saw 6 or 7 names on FAA website as a gyro CFI.

Not that bad... Most of those landings are, IMHO, more or less correct... Perhaps the speed is a bit high...
I use (or used, before these troubled times) to fly a M24, and my landings are far worse...

I had two instructors, and both were great. Everything started to come together with the second one, but assume that was after learning basics. I don’t think I did a three point landing in my Sportcopter other than the time I landed up a hill which looking back should not have done that...In the Sportcopter would land on mains and slowly pull stick back until almost no forward motion then lower the front wheel.

dты должен вернуться в школу! это точно! приземления как это абсурдны с любой моделью, которая у вас есть! обратно в школу хороший совет.

I posted a section the flight manual so you might see the divergence that concerns me.

I fly with a gyroplane CFI every chance I get because I want to learn. I feel it is money well spent.

My main gyroplane flight instructors were Terry Brandt, Jim Mayfield, Terry Eiland and Chris Burgess before I earned my Private Pilot Rotorcraft-Gyroplane certificate.

In between I flew with Greg Gremminger, Sergio Bernal, Roy Hanan, Desmond Butts, Dolfin Fritts, J.R. Stark, Craig McPherson, Paul Simon, Jim Logan, Ernie Boyette, and Britta Penca.

Michael Burton and Brandon Winters were my primary instructors for Commercial and CFI.

I am blind in one eye and have had a traumatic brain injury so I was not easy to instruct.

I still have a lot to learn.

I also only do stop and goes because I want to think about the full stop landing before I prepare myself to take off.

I don’t want you to feel I am picking on you.

In my opinion landing flat may be especially hazardous in gusting crosswind conditions so in my opinion it is something you need to address before you increase your wind limits.

If you have a mishap it affects all of us.

Ouch. Higher touch down speed + flat landings = not so good results.
Be careful.

I also have to agree with Vance; you need to get a different instructor and learn to land. That technique.... I couldn't watch. Looks like a problem waiting to happen. Flat take-off !?!? Flat landing!?!? Seek help.

I can't go back to (flight) school as I've never attended one.

Never attended a flight school??
That explains a lot.
You will become a statistic if you’re not careful.

I commend you for posting your landings so we can all learn and discuss. Perhaps any others have video's from a similar angle so also this novice see how it's done properly?

Might try
