    Thinking about adding manual choke for cold weather starts. Looking for advice about doing this.

    Take offs are optional, landings are mandatory.

    I guess you can put a choke on it, I always pumped the throttle a bunch of times and even on the coldest days I got it started, had to jiggle the throttle a bit using the accelerator pump as a primer of sorts but never needed a choke, they just end up causing trouble. maybe a squirt of starter fluid for those super cold days.... to help things along.

      I have a 350 manual choke Holley on my engine, never have had a problem with the choke, beats having to sit there playing with the throttle, while the engine warms up!
