Pilot OK but sounds the helicopter was written off - said to be learning to fly - News report confusingly refers to it as both a gyrocopter and a helicopter.................

FAA ASIAS refer to a Mosquito although the registration given NC25JC looks corrupt with that first "C".

We also lost Mosquito 911CY in Albion, New York on April 24^th with serious injuries.
