First, we plan on getting it together and airworthy. Then flying the 40 hours required.

After that, keep logging hours on her until we feel everything is safe and sound.

Then, I may decide if I will put it up for sale.

All I know, I have a lot of money and time invested in this project. I have to give the past forum responders credit, I did invest more than I expected to.

I want to make sure it's a safe and reliable bird before it goes anywhere.

John and Rick dedicated many man hours into my project and I believe we will end up with a very nice single place helicopter soon. Ricks job now is the final assembly and doing all the rigging. Both John and Rick will help fly the bird after assembly making sure it's doing what it's suppose to do.

I can't thank both of them enough for helping me with this project. If it wasn't for them, it would have been a barn queen.

I will post final pictures and flying video as soon as we get her assembled.

    Thanks for the interest

    Kevin

The truth is not for all men, but only for those who seek it.

People who are crazy enough to think that they can change

For people thatís never tried to do something remarkable,
anyone that can do something remarkable is a freakÖ
              to be scorned and shunned.

The difference between the impossible and the possible is the
              measure of a manís will.

Itís easy to have all the answers;... after the fact or while
your ass is planted in your lazy-boy, and you
won't be the one responsible for the consequences.

Genius is not just how much you know.....

to concede and live in $hit.

                Thank you Dennis.

It seems a shame to me to lose anyone on the Rotary Wing Forum.

I learn from all the posters.

Looks like a stellar build there, Kevin. I never doubted it would be finished and finished well. I just felt it would be pricey and heavy. It is a beauty though. Here's wishing you many trouble-free, safe hours in the air zooming around. Good job.

                            • Fitting modified original cowlings for new engine. Came out nice. Really wanted to keep the original cowlings. New added upper air scoops should provide good ram air flow.
