Hi Frank's. Here's a photo of my Bensen. Started flying as a glider on 1967.10.14, powered up with the 72 Mac in 1970. Solo permit in '73, PPL in '75. Photo taken in 1991.

Gilbert, in your photo, is the prop on the right way? On zooming in, It almost looks like the curved side of the blade is on the stern side.

That thing looks light. I bet it's under 300lbs?!

Frank, it weights 262 Lb. with Mac power very loud but flies good

A Mac you like that engine? I have a continental in mine a 65hp

A Mac is a temperamental engine, I don't trust it all the time, but with good maintenance it runs, I like it because it's light and powerful,
Your continental engine is a great engine and very dependable but it is a little heavy, but if you have the right set of blades it will fly
you well.

I just listed it in the for sale section.
After getting my medical from Transport Canada they took it away a few weeks after telling me after talking with there co-workers that taking away my Medical was the right thing to do.
and I pass every test they ask and even more then usual, They told me I could contest it but I don't think I will. I'm giving up.

I'm sorry to hear that Frank, and good luck to you

That is a shinny bird, from the pics it looks like it should fly good. It is too bad you did not make the fly inn last week. I would like to see it next year at the fly inn, if not before. Who are you training with? Your profile says you have a 72 also, is that on another Bensen? I have flown all types of gyros and in my opinion there is nothing better than a 90 Mac for fun flying.
The way you have it set up it should make ultralight.

I like the mufflers that you have in your 90 Mac gyro, I will like to get something like that for mine, did you built them??
