  • Headset Repair

The mic on my 2 year old cheap headset started getting intermittent. I purchased a new set of passive Dave Clark H10-13.4. I was thinking of getting the old set repaired as a backup (or if I ever get my own gyro passenger) headset.

The old ones are KORE Aviation KA-1 that only cost $160. Are they worth repairing? If so, any suggestions on where to get it done?

Kore Aviation is alive and well and still selling the KA-1.

Contact them. They might send you a replacement part for free if you are willing to do the work yourself.
Otherwise, they can do the repairs or refer you to someone closer to you.
