It's been a while since I've danced with my first true love, the mighty MAC engine. I have David Praters old "Iron Rooster" in my shop for an electric starter installation and general return-to-flight restoration. For the life of me I can not find the prop bolt torque (wood prop) or the hub retaining bolt (into the crankshaft) torque numbers. Any help or directions are appreciated.

Tom did you check out the Tennessee Prop web site? They used to have wooden prop torque numbers on it.

Just looked at their site under propellers there is a link to prop bolt torque listed by size of the retaining bolt.

Thank you all. It's been a while since I've messed about with wood props as well. I sure like to have the hub-to-crankshaft bolt torque as well.
Thanks again, Tom
