One of my main observations while flying rotorcraft is how most of the fixed wing pilots I have come across lack the understanding of how rotorcraft fly. I feel this misunderstanding leads to fear of such, and the tendency to stay away from out type of flying. This keeps our numbers down at barely above attrition rate....and thus our sport remains stagnant.

I went and flew the old Junk-N-Stuff and I was really impressed. It handled great and gained about 30 miles per hour. There were no unwanted effects. Flew good in cross winds. Was easy to hold in slow flight and made good dead stick landings. Another thing that impressed me was no cabin hop, and thats a plus. All in All I'm happy with my Mod. and will go put a few more hours on this afternoon. I think I'll end up painting it white. Today was about 90 out and that cab got pretty hot. Not that...
