Default Post Mentone Post

Flying back from Mentone to Cincinnati the weather was wonderful, visability unlimited, sky breathtaking and of course I was very gyro-jazzed from the convention. I decided the four hours of cross country were just not enough so I called Connie from Hook Field and asked her if she wanted to meet me at the airport and go flying around the Ohio River. She did so here are some photos of my first post-Mentone flight.

Looks like it was a great day to fly. Hope you stay away from that nuke stack. certain people frown on ya when ya fly to close.

Looks like the twin star is proforming very well now. what kind of changes have you noticed since you changed blades?

Those Barges look big enough to do a touch and goes on them! Wonder what the captain would think of that?

Hey is it just me, or did Todd or Mike do something to the forum to limit how big the pictures appear when you click on them? It hurts being able to voom in for detail

Yes, it was great!

It WAS going to be a nuke stack but it got converted to coal. So she is ok to fly around so long as you don't "linger".

The new blades give me less shake, smother ride and faster top speed.

I thought of that too. Wouldn't it be cool to have a 'gyro aircraft carrier'?

I can still get the expantion box when I hover over the picture.

Works O.K. for me, Ron. It enlarges by double-clicking on it and then again with the arrow in the lower right corner. Maybe that Commodore 64 has seen its better days.
