Painting tips?

Hi, I got a red Bensen with the Mac 90. I am planning to paint it a diferent color
but I don't have any experience painting gyros, Can any one please tell me the prosidure from aplying aircraft paint remover, sanding and painting?

I am goint to paint the mac too.
