Gentelmen,

this is the page of the Polish manufacturer of UL, making a professional Suzuki conversions.

The pics above are from this page, just have a look....

http://www.bilsamaviation.com/engine.htm

see also their home page for general opinion on the company. (Never mind the English... as long as it is understandable.)

Their enclosed trike looks like ready gyro cabin.

Hello again Paul,

Thank you for the post. They did a beautiful job with the Suzuki 3 cylinder engine. I went to their web site and was impressed. My only complaint is that they have evidently raised the compression to a point that each HP version requires 98 octane gasoline. That's not a desirable requirement in the US.

We are limited to 93 octane here, unless we go to Avgas, and it is much more expensive. To me, one of the big advantages in using a four stroke auto engine, in addition to the reliability, is the fact that they only require pump gas instead of avgas.

Hi Chuck,

in Poland the only car gas we have is 95 an 98 unleaded.
Funny enough, beacause in Germany they still have 92.

I was in US some time ago (last year) and was shocked to
see 78 gas still available (the last time I saw it here was 15 years ago).

Nevertheless, the conversions they make are custom, so it is up to you,
if you need little more power with expensive gas, or you are ok with
standard Suzuki parameters. In any case their carbon sump and manifold
gives a great power to weight ratio even in std config.

Paul,

I hope you meant that you saw 87 octain in the US, surely not 78.

As for the conversions, if it's not too much trouble, find out what all necessary components, except for the engine itself, would cost delivered to the US. I haven't checked, but it seems that we should be able to find the engines here.

Thanks Paul

Paul, don't forget my earlier request:

Chuck,

I think Brent Brown tries to become their agent for US.

Try to contact him, I don't want to mix into his business.

I thought Brent Brown was a forum member, but I couldn't find him.

Does anyone know his email address?

Thanks, you all.

Chuck;
I am a member here and I ask Dennis about the selling just the parts as a kit motor or the PSRU. He has yet to reply. I don't think that is what he has in mind. If someone puts the package together wrong it will be a black eye for him. So I don't think we will see that as an opption. IF his reply is that they will sell parts from the motor I will get with you ASAP.

Right now I can get a lower compression motor to run on our pump gas. The 2.58 to 1 gearbox is 1500 Euro + sh.
1.22 to 1 today + 1830 and SH. your looking at 2000 US to get it here I guess.

No word on the other parts - the long block and the box is prop above the crank only for now.

Brent

Brent,

Thanx for the added info. What vehicles did these engines come in. Maybe I could find one locally (Or did you nean you could get one from Poland?).

Their gear box looks great to me. Are you of the same opinion?

I can get the motor as seen in the photo, or you can find one. Suzuki sidekick for the 1600cc and GEO netro for the 1000 cc a samuari had a 1300cc. Befire you order made sure we can get A gearbox to fit it. The motors are call G10 for the 1000cc G13 for a 1300cc and 1600 a add b one is a 8valve and one is 16 valve. I know they have one to fit the 1600cc 16V that is the one I'm getting.
Yes the gearbox looks good but I want one that has the prop under the crank for the pusher gyro to help with thee VCG. I am working on that now.
