Let's see.... how do I feel about my first lesson.... hmmmm.... WHAT A RUSH!
Went over to Greencastle IN today for my first (official) gyro lesson and absolutely LOVED it! Gary and I went up in his twinstar for two 1/2 hr sessions and practiced about 8 touch and go's, a couple low approches (10 feet of the deck), a vertical descent (which totally rocked) and finally the heart-stopping final landing on a very short taxiway to the hanger (because the main taxiway is tore up for reconstruction). I'm pretty darn sure my wife will be making me sleep in the other room tonight! I'm so wired I can't wait to get my very own little toy helicopter thingy (my wifes definition of a gyro) I've been viewing the forum for quite some time now; and I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you who have responded to my numerous questions. These answers have helped me understand how gyros function and gave me confidence in the air today. I had such a great time I'm going to sleep with those bugs in my teeth so that when I wake up in the morning (usually grouchy) and see my reflection in the mirror, I'll say "Man, that was tooooo much fun!" ***Instant happy again on a Monday morning ***

I have 2 in the works right now.... a newbie that bought a sportcopter lightning and is thinking of selling, and a fellow forum member that's looking for a home for his 447 AC.
