Now, wait just a cotton-pickin minute here, Ron...

Last FAA quiz I took, had to sit at a computer, and it was graded instantaneously... er, pretty quick, anyway. So I suspect you know how you did.

Which makes betting against you kind of like the Lottery: "A tax on people who are bad at mathematics."

Me, I've been reading your posts for a couple years, and I'll guess you scored about 90. (this, not knowing what is on a PPL(G) written). I know you passed.

cheers

-=K=-
I took the Private pilot SEL - fixed wing - test. I am getting my rating in fixed wing first and will go after rotorcraft sometime down the road............... maybe. You know there is that whole " you can fly ANY experimental with ANY powered rating" thing we have discussed before.

Yes I took the test on the computer and did get my score right afterwards. I am just curious what you guys think I did on it. I will spill the beans tomorrow some time.

Yeah, after I posted I saw your post in another thread with the old Piper (Pacer?) you're learning in.

We had a Tri-Pacer, old N8638D. Great short field machine. With flaps extended, sink rate of a stone (for a plane. After a gyro it must seem floaty!)

Since it's the PPL (A) I revise my guess up, to 95. (grin)

cheers

-=K=-

Ron: I have no doubt you passed... I bet you got at least a 95. I still remember my test as if it was yesterday. I did well on it and the check ride was more nerve wracking. I had a date set...and it ended up being a nice sunny day...but only 5 degrees. I am not one to deviate from my plan. If the Piper Tomahawk started....I was flying to Danville, Il for that check ride.

I never will forget my examiner's surprised look when I came in for the check ride. We went on with it..and the only thing that we didnt do was pull the throttle back for a simulated engine out. He just didnt want to do that with the cold temperatures. Anyway...that check ride was Dec. 19th, 1983....20 year anniversary coming....

Ron...good luck with your check ride....I am sure you will do fine.....just watch out for being asked to do anything out of the ordinary.
