I do know that fresh bread will kill a Muscovy duck. Bread mold will get into their lungs and continue growing until they smother. I think the veterinarians call it aspergilliosis.

Rye bread is submitted to severe toxical issues if infected by the ergot of rye.
"Ergot of Rye is a plant disease that is caused by the fungus Claviceps "

the effects of this fungus on the human is similar to LSD.

Once, a baker , in a village called "pont saint esprit" made bread with infected rye... during days all sort of things happened : suicides, murders, infanticide, collective panic scenes that led to something like 100 victims.

That picture of you in your Avatar while infected with Rye should scare anyone away from bread! It's too bad French's hadn't introduced their Antibacterial Mustard sooner. Lives could have been saved.

A ducks opinion of me is directly related to whether or not I have bread.

Ducks love bread, it's a cruel joke on them that they have no way to obtain it.

If I worked in a convenience store and a duck came in and took a loaf of bread, I would let him, I would tell him to "Bring your friends".
