I'm sorry that I have to report that Don Calloway passed away during a surgical procedure Friday, 1/9/15.

Some of you PRA members remember Don as a CFI that trained in a Lycoming powered Parsons type design in the 90s and won the Man & Machine award one year at an annual convention. He was one of the original founders of PRA Chapter 62 and was the driving force behind bringing the PRA convention to Hearne TX. in 1990 where Chapter 62 served as host.

We hadn't seen Don very often in the last 10 -15 years but I have fond memories of his visits.

Don and Don Bouchard spent a week with me in 1986/7 we got him a VW engine from way down in the woods in what is now Golden gate estates outside of Naples , Fl. He, Boo and I flew all over the golden gate area.
He was a good man.

I never met Don Calloway but Don Bouchard spoke very highly of him and talked about the old days flying together!!! He will be missed!!!!
